A brand-new Mactec horizontal pouching machine is built and available for application review. The MTHP300XL makes four-side-seal pouches around flat or placed products, such as patches, medical devices and diagnostic components. It has never run in production, and it is on our floor in Sayreville, New Jersey.
Skip the build time
A new MTHP150 horizontal pouch machine typically takes about 30 to 40 weeks to reach factory acceptance testing, based on recent proposals. This MTHP300XL is already built, and you can visit our plant to see it. Tooling, product feeding and acceptance testing for your product are agreed in Mactec’s proposal.

Each is a question of fit, not a promise: we review your product, how it is loaded and the pouch you need. The machine suits contract packagers and manufacturers that want a horizontal pouching line without waiting for a new build: flat or placed products, several setups with quick changeovers, and small to medium runs on a machine built for continuous production.

- Grab-and-pull stepper index, slitter station and guillotine final cut
- Inkjet printing with traverse and print registration
- Four splice and low-material sensors, and a discharge conveyor
Options: a vision system that checks product placement and presence, a 4-across vial feeder, a 4-across swab feeder, and spare seal tooling. We review product loading and the feeding your product needs as part of the application review.
